What is The Vendry?
Who we are and what we do.
The Vendry is the fastest growing marketplace and network for corporate event planners, connecting brands with the world’s hottest venues and top event pros. We match your spaces or services with the planners that want to book them.
Why did I receive this lead?
Free, qualified leads from the best event pros in the game.
The Vendry is an RFP platform that allows corporate planners to share their event requests with any venue or vendor.
Planners may specifically request to get a proposal from you, or they indicated they’re interested in getting proposals from any business that’s a good fit so our concierge team shared it with you.
Is there a cost to use The Vendry?
We're free for everyone to use - seriously.
The Vendry is completely free to use (because we're backed by some of the best investors and venture capitalists out there). Our platform is free and open to any planner looking to find agencies, pros, or venues. And it's free for those agencies, pros, and venues to list themselves too. We don't charge for listings, leads, or bookings. That's what we call bang for your (no) bucks.
How do I respond to an RFP?
It’s quick, easy, and free.
Just click Respond on the RFP and follow our brief prompts – it only takes a few minutes to submit a proposal, decline, or ask questions about the event.
Do I need an account on The Vendry to respond to an RFP?
Yes - Event planners use our platform to conveniently collect proposals in one place, so you will need to create a free profile if you haven’t already.
It’s quick and easy to respond to an RFP and our messaging integrates with your email so you won’t miss a beat.
Can I speak with the client before responding to an RFP?
Submitting a response is the first step to learn more about an RFP.
You’ve reviewed the RFP but have follow-up questions? Go ahead and include those questions in the free text section of your initial proposal. We’ll let the planner know you need more info before you can submit a detailed one.
Why can’t I include my website or email in my proposal?
Planners use The Vendry to keep track of the vendors and venues they're in contact with about their event. We require that all initial responses to the planner be submitted through our platform, but once you're connected with them via our Messenger you’re free to share any relevant links and contact information.
I submitted a proposal. What happens next?
We’ll share your proposal with the planner and if they’re interested in connecting further we’ll connect you via our Messaging platform. At that point you’re more than welcome to take the conversation to email or a phone call.
You can always reference the proposals you’ve submitted in your inquiry inbox.
How do I reset my login info?
Reset your password with a few clicks.
Click here to reset your password. A password reset email will then be sent to the email address associated with your account.
Can I remove my business listing?
The Vendry publishes business information so that event professionals can share their experiences about local businesses, and because the information is typically a matter of public record and public concern. Therefore we don’t remove such information from the site.
While we understand that some business owners might prefer to keep a low profile, it’s important (and a legal right) for professionals to be able to find and share helpful information about great local businesses.
If you need to update or change the information on your business page, please email team@thevendry.com.
If your business is permanently or temporarily closed, please let us know by emailing team@thevendry.com. Please note that closed businesses sometimes still appear in our search results, for example, to inform users that the business is closed.
